Chris Sullivan joined both the National Bison Association (NBA) and the Montana Bison Association (MBA) in the winter of 2000- 2001. Chris was on the board as a member, a Vice President and then President. His board service ended in 2010 after being on for nine years.

For the NBA, Sullivan has been involved on varying committees including the Mentorship Program. “Helping to start new bison herds with landowners has been one of the most rewarding experiences in the bison producer community. It is the finest way to make great, long-lasting friendships and be involved in the business of bison. I look forward to a renewed service on the MBA board. I urge and invite the MBA membership to become active with the board regarding all things bison, while entertaining the idea of being on the board themselves.”

Chris has ranched bison near Dixon Montana purchasing his first animals in 1999.
